Refund Policy
At Ethlore, every saree and ethnic wear piece is chosen with care, for its craft, its weave, and the story it carries. We want you to love what you receive. If something is not right, we're here to make it right.
1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns within 3 days of the delivery date, subject to the following conditions:

The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.

All original tags, packaging, and blouse piece (if included) must be intact.

The saree must be in its original fold, please do not re-drape and return.

A clear unboxing video or photograph showing the item and any defect is required to initiate the return.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

Customised, stitched, or altered sarees (including blouses stitched to your measurements).

Items purchased during sale, clearance, or promotional events (unless received damaged or defective).

Blouse bits, accessories, and add-on items sold separately.
-
Items that have been worn, washed, dry-cleaned, or show signs of use.

Items returned without prior approval from our team.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To raise a return request, follow these steps:

within 3 days of delivery.

Step 2: Include your Order ID, item name, reason for return, and supporting photos or unboxing video.

Step 3: Our team will review and respond within 2 business days with a Return Authorisation Number (RA Number) if eligible.

Step 4: Ship the item to our warehouse address using a reliable courier with tracking. Mention the RA Number on the package.

Step 5: Once received and inspected (within 3 business days), we will initiate your refund or exchange.
Note: Returns without an RA Number will not be accepted.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs or an unboxing video. In such cases:

Return shipping will be fully covered by Ethlore.

You will receive a full refund or a replacement, at your preference.
We may request additional documentation to process the claim swiftly.
5. Refund Terms
5.1 Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method:

UPI / Net Banking / Debit Card: Refunded within 5–7 business days.

Credit Card: Refunded within 7–10 business days (timeline may vary by bank).

Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Refunded via bank transfer. Please share your bank details when raising the request.
5.2 Refund Deductions
The following will be deducted from refund amounts where applicable:

Outbound shipping charges for orders where free shipping was applied (typically ₹75–₹150 per item).

Payment gateway processing fees (up to 2%), if incurred.
5.3 Store Credit Option
As an alternative to a monetary refund, you may opt for Ethlore Store Credit of equivalent value, which can be used on any future purchase within 12 months. Store credit will be credited to your account within 24 hours of return approval.
6. Exchange Policy
We offer exchanges for a different size, colour, or style, subject to availability. Exchanges are accepted within 3 days of delivery under the same conditions as returns (see Section 1). For exchanges:

If the new item is of equal value, no additional charge applies.

If the new item is of higher value, you will be charged the price difference.

If the new item is of lower value, the balance will be issued as store credit.
Exchange shipping charges (return + re-dispatch) are borne by the customer, except in cases of defective or incorrectly shipped items.
7. Colour & Variation Disclaimer
Sarees are photographed under professional lighting to represent colours as faithfully as possible. However, due to differences in monitor calibration and screen resolution, a colour variation of up to 10% may occur. This is standard across the industry and does not qualify as a defect. Similarly, minor weave irregularities in handloom and artisanal pieces are marks of authenticity, not manufacturing flaws.
